National Yacht Club (NYC) is an active, inclusive boating community located downtown on the Toronto Harbourfront west.

Since 1894, National Yacht Club has welcomed all forms of sailing and boating in a relaxed atmosphere whose only requirement is a shared passion. 

Location

The National Yacht Club is on the Downtown Toronto Waterfront at 1 Stadium Road, Toronto, ON M5V 3H4. This is east of Ontario Place, at the end of Stadium Road. That’s one block west of Bathurst Street, south off Lakeshore Road (just south of the Tip Top Tailors building). See the map below.

Facilities

There is free on-site member parking, and 4 accessible parking spots.

Wheel-Trans drop off: Wheel-Trans vehicles can pull up to the main doors for drop offs and there is a good turning radius for easy exit.

The main door to the Club is an accessible door with hand wave actuator for easy access.

The door to the main docks is an accessible door with hand wave actuator for easy access.

Dining Room and Sundeck

The Club dining room and sundeck are barrier free. There is an elevator to the upper floor where the dining room and sundeck are located, which overlooks Humber Bay.

The restaurant and deck are accessible via an elevator.

The door to the deck is an accessible door with hand wave actuator for easy access.

Washrooms

The washrooms, located on the ground floor, are  accessible for smaller mobility devices.

The doors to the men's washroom and ladies washroom are  accessible doors with hand wave actuator for easy access.

Docks

The docks are wheelchair accessible, fitted with a steel ramp.

Ice

Ice is available for purchase from the Officer Of the Day station.

Wifi

Wifi is available around the clubhouse.

Sailing Area

The sailing area is in Humber Bay, which is to the west of the Toronto Inner Harbour.
