Able Sail - Good Neighbours Awards Presentation

On February 18, 2026, Eleanor Baker and Karen-Ann Xavier of Able Sail Toronto were honoured with Good Neighbour Awards presented by Chi Nguyen, Member of Parliament for Spadina–Harbourfront.

These awards recognize neighbours, volunteers, and community builders whose kindness, leadership, and everyday actions make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

In Canada, the third week of February marks National Kindness Week, an annual celebration encouraging Canadians to uplift one another through acts of kindness, volunteerism, and charitable giving. In Spadina–Harbourfront, this year’s observance included hosting the first annual Good Neighbour Awards and celebrating the individuals whose contributions help make the community so vibrant and welcoming.
