Join us Friday, June 5 at 11:30 AM EST, as we have our weekly Lunch and Learn. The June 5th guest speaker is Stephen Bushe who will be joining us from Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is the southernmost island country in the Caribbean. It is situated 130 kilometres (81 miles) south of Grenada and 11 kilometres (6.8 miles) off the coast of northeastern Venezuela.

Stephen is a Ships Pilot, he brings the ships into the ports around Trinidad, he has been been piloting for 20 years now. A ship pilot is a sailor who maneuvers ships through dangerous or congested waters, such as harbors or river mouths. They are navigational experts possessing knowledge of the particular waterway such as its depth, currents, and hazards.

The maximum length in our ports 295m and he has an unlimited tonnage license. The type of cargo: Commercial including Passenger, General Cargo,  Bulkers, Tankers etc.

In addition, Stephen races J24, and has sailed Hobie 16's in Trinidad.
