Here's how we use the safety boat

Every day the sailors are out on the water the safety boat is out on the water, always in visual contact with the sailors. Every 20 minutes or so there is a visual check-in, with either a thumbs up, or a radio call. The sailors are escorted in and out of the harbour with the safety boat or towed in or out, depending on the weather conditions. This piece of equipment is a mission critical asset and key piece of our safety policies.
